Caledonia Street Art walk is located in beautiful Sausalito.
Every second Wednesday of the From March through October, the Caledonia Street
neighborhood in Sausalito welcomes residents and visitors to the 2nd Wednesday ArtWalk.
Businesses, galleries and restaurants on Caledonia, Pine and Johnson Streets host Bay Area
artists and are open to the public for viewing from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. each second Wednesday of the
month. Each night you might see oil painting, photography, jewelry, sculpture, pottery, or watercolors,
all crafted by local artists. In addition, you'll find many artists and entertainers on the street,
creating their artwork before your very eyes! ArtWalk is free to participants and visitors.
Come to shop, enjoy and purchase local art, visit your friends and neighbors, and of course,
stay for dinner! You can pick up a map showing each of the participating venues, or just follow the
balloons and the crowds outside each location. The 2nd Wednesday ArtWalk is an adventure that is happening
as a result of the hard work of a number of local business owners, merchants and artists.
Over 40 ArtWalks have been held in the last three years, with growing community involvement,
making it one of Sausalito's most vibrant public events. This popular once-a-month event draws residents
and visitors from all over the Bay Area who enjoy the opportunity to see a large variety of artwork
during a single evening, while socializing with their fellow art lovers. If you are interested in
participating as a venue or as an artist, contact Christopher Holbrook at 331-8272 or e-mail him at:
